First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for their interest in my product and all your kind words. I hope they live up to expectations. I say my because it's only me, despite all the we's and our's on my site. I don't mean to mislead anyone, it just sounded too arrogant with I's and me/my's.

There is no way that I can keep up with the rate they are moving(Yes, you were right Joe!). I am not out of stock, I just need to paint more, FAST. Rather than putting them up one at a time, I will wait til there are a few patterns so people have more choices and get a better value for their shipping dollar.

I plan to start the restock with the Originals as they are in the worst shape at the moment. I plan to make as many as I can in each pattern til my pre-made stock is exhausted. I made jigs all summer, non-stop so I wouldn't find myself in this situation again, but here it is and there isn't even good ice in most places yet. No, this isn't my day job, I've got one of those too. The restock is already under way, but they are time consuming and I won't cut corners.

A few days before I put a partial restock on my site, I will post it on this thread. I will also post it in my signature.

After reading all the hype I had to order. Got the jigs today and they look GREAT. Only took a couple days for them to arrive. Now all that remains is to see if they out fish the moon glitters .....orange and chartruse...I have been using for the last 15 years. With the Zitis, can that be used with a jensen egg for perch or is live bait the best way to fish it, thx again good looking product, fair price, and good customer service gee, what a concept!

Just got back from Gull lake. I used the ficious mud bug. Ive never caught some many bass ice fishing. Landed a 5lber out of a 4" hole, fat thing got stuck putting it back down the hole!!! Got gills on it too but mostly bass. Thanks!

Had a few hours to burn today so I hit a small lake close by. Ficious Glow Purple did it's job. Took home 22 gills. Had to go to 9 and Jefferson to get a few more. I am going back to the lake tomorrow with a buddy to see if it was the jig, or just a hot spot. Good work Harry!

Got to try the glow purple and a glow creemsicle today,both worked very nice. My only problem was the hooks are a little big,kept blowing out my spikes so it would be cool to see some thin wire hooks in the future.

Hey Harry, the perch up here in Bay City took a liken to your Okwa bug original today. It took 2/3 of my catch today. Hardest part of all of this is trying to decide which awesome looking jig I should tie on !

The bug eyes are why I started making my own jigs. Put more fish in my bucket over the last 20 years on them than anything else. I'm glad they treated you well. My last gill outing was all Glow Okwa Bug Eyes too(Too cold to change baits, only had one rod with me).

Went to the site a little bit ago. Worked fine at first....clicked on the mag zitz and looked at them, then clicked on the zitz link and I got what everyone else is getting.

I noticed that the mag zitz in yellow tiger are sold out....any idea when they'll be back in stock? I plan on ordering when the site is back up and I had that yellow tiger on my list.

Our next partial restock will be on Thursday 1-8-09. It will feature a few of the popular Lil' Minnies patterns along with some of the Special Features page favorites. There will be an addition to the Special Feature page, the Glow Neon Tiger Minnie(Glow purple body, glow yellow stripes, glow invisible orarnge belly, glow white/black eyespot, red gill slit). Since quantities are very limited on these(Special Features), there will be a limit of 2 pcs each per order so more customers get the chance to get some.

Here's a list of what we expect to restock:

Originals: Glow Blue Shiner, SF Glow Bloogill, SF Okwa Bug Eye, SF Glow Smerch/Tiger Fry, Glow Purple

Lil' Minnies: Glow Shiner, Glow Yellow Tiger, Yellow Tiger, Glow Neon Tiger Minnie, and a player to be named at a later date.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, my shipping price will have to go up to reflect the cost of tracking and/or delivery confirmation. I will not post details on this. I tried to keep cost down by not doing this and got burned. Another case of one guy ruining it for everyone. None of the additional cost will stay with me.

Mag Yellow Tiger won't be for a while, I have to try to keep the smaller stuff up, that will be a full time job(another one) til my stock runs out. When that happens, it would be pointless to try to keep up. As for the other stuff the odds are better, but it won't be for a while.

I will be releasing some left over stock from the most recent restock later this week. I had hoped to do it sooner, but the response left me swamped for the last few days, last of the orders should go out tomorrow unless there's still a check involved.

I offered combined shipping if you still had an order with me that hadn't shipped yet, thinking that was the right thing to do......it wasn't. I got so tangled up in checking every order to make sure it wasn't a duplicate that it has slowed me down immensely(hope I got it right). I won't be able to offer that again. This is kinda off topic but concerns members. Some of my packages are taking extraordinarilly long to get to their destinations. I am very sorry, but my part was done properly. Check the ship dates on the envelopes when they come in.

I took it up with my local post office today and they told me they are not doing anything differently but that the Royal Oak post office no longer handles packages from my area. They have opened a huge new Metroplex or something like that in Pontiac and it may be experiencing some problems on and off trying to get up to speed.

One package(of many that day) was destined for Metamora, 10 miles from me. It's been in USPS hands since the 12th. I haven't heard if it came today or not. I could have walked it to Metamora in 3 or 4 hours. I understand your disappointment but here is little I can do at this point. I asked about using a different post office and was told the entire area goes through that facility now. I wish they went through their debugging process in July, but I/we didn't get that lucky.

I bought 4 different jigs awhile back and am still testing them, they have done well this ice season and I plan to use them in the open water also. For what its worth I think anything in glow is a good choice.

I'd like to suggest the following for restock:
zitz - glow purple convict and the glow yellow tiger
originals - glow blue shiner, glow green bug eye, and glow purple
minnies - glow shiner

All of them seem to have a certain 4-letter word in front of them....weird :)

Since our members make up a large part of my customer base, I was wondering. I found enough Zitz to do 2 colors 50 pcs ea. What patterns would you guys like to see. I would guess that Glow Yellow Tiger would be one, judging by emails/PM's. Any suggestions?


Same for the Originals, what 2 or 3 colors would you guys like for the last restock?

My last purchase of the MeatnGreet and neon tiger showed up. The purple on the neon tiger really glows. Did you do something different from the other glow purples?

I have had my best luck on the glow okwa original size so far this year.

Is the mag zitz lite the same size/weight as the regular mag zitz or slightly smaller/lighter?Same size blade, half the weight, I would compare it to a Syclops lite that mepps has, at least that's the closest thing I can compare it to ;)

The blade is the same size as the Mag. It's about half the weight, on one end so it glides away from the center line of the hole and wobbles back to center. I've found that pike like them, to much almost. I've been playing with the concept for a couple/three years now.

First I have to say...well done! Even with out ever seeing one of your jigs, I can see that you have a happy following. Are these more of a spoon than a teardrop style ice hook? I was "hooked" on Halis for quite a while, but being from Flint, I'd gladly spend and keep my money in State.

Got to see some in action last night! Fishing in a hole 5 feet away they outfished a forage minnow 4 keepers to 2 and a couple more throwbacks. Probably would have been more, but we had to leave right when the crappies were starting to turn on. The pictures don't even do them justice. When you see how good they look glowing in the dark you will be even more impressed with them. I am even more excited for my order to get here now!

Yes the Mag Zitz Lite are more like a spoon style bait. These are a prototype. I had hoped to release them this season, but there just wasn't time to build enough stock. I can't wait to "field test" the new color pattern.

Cool, if you need "help" field testing in the Flint area, I'd be glad to "help"...lol

They look like small willow spoons. My unlce, gramps brother, would make something simular out of Colorado blades and just paint a big eye on them but he soldered a small hook on the blade. I like the idea of having the hook loose, with the O ring, looks like you would get better action with yours..well done!

This late in the season, those are pretty much gone, or, "I wouldn't put this jig in someones order" lookin jigs. If you like them well enough to order again, I'll see to it you get some.

Ugly doesn't mean won't produce. The Glow Mud Bugz are proof of that. That's one jig I will always paint for myself.

On a separate subject again, I'd like a apologize to the people who have written me an I neglected to get back to you. This is a crazy operation to try to run alone. One thing pushes out another, then you are on to the next problem. The late delivery/mail issue has caused me untold grief in time and effort to get that resolved. There is no clear cause to the problem other than the new Metroplex collection center issue, over which I have no control. Throw in family, a full time job, grandkids, etc and things fall through the cracks.

Everyone deserves an answer, so if I have not responded, please get back to me.

I'm planning to put my last restock of the season up this weekend or early next week. I'm trying to get as many colors/patterns up as I possibly can, that's the cause of the delay.

I just put 3 pictures of the Zitz Lite family on my Special Feature page. They are not "sold out", but not for sale yet either. This was they only format that I could post the pictures without stocking them. When they are gone, they will disappear from the page.

Quantities will be limited to one jig per pattern. I'm looking to get these into as many peoples hands as possible to get feedback(good/bad) to see if they will gain a place on the site.

I will post on this thread when I am sure of the restock time/date.

I was invited to fish in an invitational ice fishing tourny last weekend in Fremont MI. Everyone had the option of throwing in an extra $10 for a "non-species" prize.

I took first place on non-species with an 18 in 2.62lb largemouth! That paid out $120 (which is close to the amount I've spent on ficious jigs this year).

The fruits of your labor Harry!!! The one I am holding is my first ever walleye through the ice. She fell to a naval orange tiger mag zit with a minnow head and the smaller one inhaled a glow okwa bug eye tipped with a 3 in walleye minnow. Thanks for putting out a great porduct! Tim;)

I will be putting my last restock of this season up at around 9 pm tonight. I did small quantities of many patterns rather than make alot of just a couple. Individual quantities have been limited to 3 pcs for most items....there just aren't enough for the usual 5 pcs.

Please give me feedback on the Zitz Lites. I'm considering adding them to my site if they prove themselves.

You need to add them to the line up.
The two you sent me stays on my poles and they catch the most hands down. Outstanding action. Plus you need to put those colors in the line up as well. The pink and Okwa. When you do, I know I'll be putting in a big order.

Lil' Minnies glow blue body, glow purple back, glow yellow/black eyespot, dark red stripes, silver glitter over all(Glow Frostbite). Maybe a Baby Zitz Glow Purple Bug Eye. Glow Purple and yellow/black eyespots. Possible some Glow Okwa body, glow yellow back, black stripes, gold glitter(Baby Zitz).

These were destined for next year, but I will let them go now. Headed down that way to do some fishin.

Just reading an article in one of my In-Fisherman magazines about deadly spoon moves for walleye and they had Ficious Jigs Zits as one of there top lures. They didn't say what color the one was in the picture, but it looked awesome. I don't recall seeing it on the site. I have caught anything from gills, bass, perch, walleye, and crappie on the ones I have. They attract fish like a dinner bell!

Finally got to use my ficious jigs out on the Bay for walleyes. First keeper was a nice 19" eye on a glow clown bug eye mag zit. Ended the day going 4 for 8, two of the keepers came on that glow clown bug eye and the other two came on a jig head.

Has anyone tried taking off the single hook and putting a small treble hook in its place? Does it affect the action?

Lots of people switch the hooks for trebles or Hali chains with good results.
