Before I moved up to my SP10 for geese I shot a 26" barrled, 3" chambered 12ga Citori, Killed many, I mean MANY geese with this gun, Over Decoys, off beaver ponds, you name it. With the advent of steel shot the performance was a little lacking With the bigger shot sizes needed for geese, The two chokes that I found worked the best for my set up were Improved cyl, and Modified. I shot alot of "T"s through this gun with no problem( at the time Browning did not recommend shooting anything larger than "BB"s in this Citori).
Tell me what shot size you plan on using and if your shooting birds over decoys, Jump shooting, and distances your shots are, I should be able to help you out :)

I would get some steel shot tubes, and shoot Improved Modified, and Improved Cylinder, or Improved Modified and Modified. I would shoot any shot larger than #1's. Personally, I like B's or BB's in my reloads. Zak

My suggestion would be to first pattern your gun with the tubes you have. I am sure you have Mod., Imp., and skeet tubes. Shoot at a big piece of paper and see what happens at 20, 30, and 40 yards. Shouldn't have to go beyond that as 40+ yard shots are known for the skybusters.Don't worry about having to go out and buy inbetween tubes until you find out what these do.
