Terrible game. My son and I were at the game at MSG.
No one played defense for 3.9 quarters.
Iverson played no defense for 3.99 quarters.
No Piston could hit a shot from the field, particularly no threes.
No hustle from Sheed.
Rip fouled out with 2 technicals. Very unusual for him, shows you that the team was not with it at all.
Walter was the only inspirational player; that guy came off the bench like a man with a mission.
I think the Billups/Iverson deal has significantly changed the chemistry of the team, probably not in a good direction. Seeing a game at MSG was great. The crowd was really into the game. The place was roaring in the fourth quarter when the Pistons tried to come back, and the Knicks fought them off. Great hot dogs and knish, too.
