anyone checked the lakes in the area, the early ice spots?

I called up angler archer yesterday and they said that the consevation club had a slush of ice over it, so not yet. That is usually the very first place for safe ice on that lake.

What about Snug anything starting?
I heard Little Black Lake off from Pontaluna was shut thanksgiving weekend might drive by see whats going on. I havent fished it much in the winter but it might get the ich out if its safe.

I heard the conservation club had 3/4" and it's getting colder by the day.

anybody rode by white lake toward the marina on the montague side? that freezes fairly quick lots of dinks but i got the itch.

I drove by Twin Lake about a hour and a half ago and seen 2 people walking out on it. They were carrying ice fishing stuff but I was driving down the road so I don't know if they stayed or not. They were out quite a ways though and didn't look all wet...:dizzy:........yet anyways...:lol:

I just got up & it looks like a foot of snow on the deck. That's not gonna help the ice.:yikes:

10 miles north of Fremont and we got all of that and probably more AND its still friggen snowing.........:rant::rant::rant: the freek is never gonna freeze at this rate..
