Just wondering what are your favorite jigs for bluegills and for walleye on these in land lakes?
I like the moon glow green and orange for the gills and like the jigging rapala and Swedish pimples for the eyes

i've always like the old arnold honey jig & poly jig. (can't find any gold backs anymore) at least 1 rod will have 1 tied on
but things change. i'm starting to like a horizontal jig. they have great action.
i bought some jigs this yr. from ficious & jamminjigs, sooooo....
ask me at season end. it may change:chillin:

You guys put wax worms or minnows on there and if so, how do you rig them?

I'm with you Gotone. Whenever I go gill fishing the first thing on the end of my line is a #8 moon glo with a green front and chartreuse back. And jigging raps for walleye. The moon glo's have always worked... I like the action they have and so do the gills.

Go to lure for Gills is a chartreuse/orange #10 Custom Jigs and Spins Demon.
For walleye a Gum Ball Jig w/stinger hook tipped with a shiner.
But it doesn't take long to change if it's not workin'.

most any little jig for me the most important thing is the fly above it,I'm partial to black ants in small size's,some days the gills knock the paint off um;):fish:

Walleyes, either #5 or #7 jigging rap or Swedish pimple with iridescent glow with a minnow head. When I used to fish for gills, a Marmooska jig with a spike or mousie.
I figured I'd show a pic too

#10 orange fish eye from Jammim Jigs. Also found #10 fish eyes in red at a local bait shop. By far has been my best producer over the last two years.
