It looks like a good idea and I have lost fish in the hoe and I have stuck my whole arm down the hole to get fish so this does look a little warmer than being wet or losing a fish.

Just pull the fish right up out of the hole, don't try to pick it up with your hand. When you try to pick it up with your hand many times you will accidentally give the fish some slack and he's gone. Right Houghtonlaker?

This sounds like a neat idea but I don't buy the part about it being tangle-free.

Also, when I look at the forum posts, it sounds like people are busy milking perch (http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59902) so they must be landing fish somehow.

tangle free hum trouble buying that myself, lord knows the transducer itself can creat a tangle of mess.
