Hatching boxes for geese

I had some geese in my pond this morning and was wondering if it is possible to build something which would increase the chance of geese building a nest there?

Yooper there are quite a few designs when it comes to goose structures. In Southern Iowa they do not have the goose pop that MI does. They take a plastic 55 gal barrel and cut it horizontally about 12 inches from the top. They do the same at the bottom and they get two big dishes about 12 inches high and maybe 30 inches across.
