I looked up their website real quick and there's no information about dealers. Looks cool though.

Hmmm... 4 inch auger plus a Clam fish shack and an Aqua View camera with Mora branding? Looks like something for the European market. Haven't seen or heard about anything in any of my winter dealer catalogs.

First off, just to let you know, I own a strikemaster lazer so I am not posting this to sell the product that is in the video. But, I believe, that auger is the Nils Master repackaged in a new color. A buddy of mine has the 4.5" and it cuts ice like butter compared to my 8" strikemaster. Yeah the diameter does make a difference and I still love my strikemaster but the blades on the Nils are much sharper.

The only problem that I have seen with this auger is the availability of replacement blades.

You can still order the 'old' version from Cabelas.

You can also order a gas powered version that converts to a hand auger if need be. This is the first one that popped up when I searched but I am sure you can buy them elsewhere.

Diameter makes a lot of difference.

I own a 4" Mora, 6" Mora (both older models), 5" Lazer, and an 8" Lazer hand augers. The 4" goes through the ice easily, the 5" just as easy I use this auger all winter for panfish rather than lug a power auger around unless we're gonna swiss cheese an area, I have no problem goin' through a few feet of ice with it. Now the 8" is another story it goes through the ice easier than the 6" Mora, but will still give ya a workout once the ice gets 12"+ if ya drill more than a couple of holes. Needless to say the 5" Lazer is my favorite unless I'm targeting something other than panfish. The Lazers seem to cut better than the Moras even with a step up in hole diameter. I have retired my Moras since purchasing the Lazers.

True, the Lazers put the standard Moras to shame, but wait until you see the blades on the Nils/'new' mora. Dangerous to say the least, but they sure cut ice nicely.

Keep in mind that this new auger might be called a Mora, but it isn't one. Just as the camera in the video isn't a Mora. Mora must have bought the rights to sell and market these items but it still doesn't make them Moras. Don't let the name on the auger in the video fool you and make you think 'it's just a mora'.

If I were to buy another hand auger it would be the Nils, cabelas version or this 'new' mora version.

But like I said the only potential downfall is that I have yet to see replacement blades for them at any store, although I never looked that hard when I was at Cabelas. Why look when you don't own one, ya know?

I just looked at the video again and it seems that they have changed the blade head a bit. In the past the blades were built right into the (red) head, but looking at the video it appears that this new one has blades similiar to a lazer. Meaning each blade is held on to the head by 2 screws instead of just being a part of the head.

i have a 20 yr old 5" mora. still using the same set of blades it came with . just sharpen them every year. i think the thing with the mora is the angle of the blade mounting surface. it's not steep enough. so being a machinist, i took it in & reworked the angle yrs ago. also made a holder for the blades to sharpen them.
i have 2 of the old scoop type augers too. 1 was my dads & been used once in 27yrs. i've had to make new top knobs for all 3 augers .
spud for first ice, scoop till there 6" ,(it's so much lighter),then the mora

If you go to the company website you will see that the mora design is entirely different than the nils. they use a plastic head and metal blades which are seperately replaceable and a larger center post for better balance. the nils is a one piece metal cutting head. I'm sure that either one is good as is a lazer.
