Duck Stamps- Federal & Michigan

I am looking for information on When was the first Federal Duck Stamp Issued? What date. Also, what about Michigan Duck Stamp? I have seen Fed. stamps back to 1939.

The first fed. duck stamps were sold in 1934
The first yr. for art competition was in 1949.
The first Mi. St. stamp was in 1976...I think....It sold for $2.10.
If you have a 1977 in mint cond. thats the mega buck stamp. I don"t know why that yr. is so valuable. The duck on the "77" is a Canvasback.
