UP lakes

Any of the UP lakes getting close yet? like lets say the Curtis or Gulliver area?

or any others... i give up on deer hunting i need to get on the ice!!!:coolgleam

I called Kathy at JR's earlier today, she said that the south lake completely froze over last night so should be ready to go in a few days. I'll be up there for a few days during winter break...cant wait!:D

Give it a week. Big water is still wide open, but the sheltered lakes are solidifying nicely.

Its been a while Fish! Yeah I cant wait either. I get weekends off now and also have a winter break.. just not sure if im going to cali for christmas or if im going to be able to go to the UP fishing for an extended amount of time :D

we will see i guess... I cant wait to get out there though! i already have all my stuff ready!

I am from Manistique about 35 mi, from Curtis and Its been around 40 here the last couple days, I would give it a while yet,Need some nice calm and COLD nights,,I am also looking forward to ice fishing :dizzy:
