With first ice lurking around the corner its only fitting we have a jig swap. Im not sure how many people to do. Last year i did my first one i think we had 11 and the guy organizing. Id be willing to coordinate this one if we have enough people. if anyone has any ideas or input lets hear it. I know we would like some new jigs to start off the season, and this is a great way to see what other guys like to use and works for them, and then maybe work for you.

lets give it till the end of the week to see if we have ayone else interested. then we will shoot to have the jigs mailed out by the 8th of december that will allow for a couple days both for them to get to me then me to ship them out. if this is to soon please let me know, it makes no diffrence to me either way whatever you guys prefer is ok by me

Never done it before, so would like to make sure I understand how it works, but I have a whole bunch of bluegill/crappie jigs and teardrops and some larger spoons that I can send out.

update: We now have 9 just a few more and we will be all set. DaveW731: How it works, you pick 11 of your favorite jig that you would like to share mail them to me once i have them from everyone i will seperate so everyone recieves one of each then ill mail them out. its a great way to start the season with a variety of jigs. some of our more talented members make some very good jigs as well. no names needed:fish: also I was reminded that we should either post pics of the jigs we intend to swap or attach a tag to each with your pen name so everyone will know who each jig came from.. It makes it fun to see pics of everyones jig as we go to.

I'm going to shoot for something smaller than last season, most likely glow. I'll post a pic when I get them done, maybe by the weekend.

Gotta hit the paint shop hard this holiday. Good ice isn't far away.

I was in the jig swap last year, but I have to ask, do all 11 jigs need to be the same color, or can you have 11 of the same style jigs with different colors? Have a good holiday.

Thanks for putting this on. My package went out today w/SASE. I threw in some cases, I hope they will work. They might not work larger jigs, just keep them if they don't. Just keep the extras.

Mine went out this morning. I couldnt decide between two I had it narrowed down to, so I sent both along. Merry Christmas!!

Sorry about that: tried the new camera to post pix, but couldn't figure it out (must be getting old). My jigs are all #12 rocker-style verticle jigs, most hot pink, a couple chartreuse and a white. All have caught lots of gills and crappie for me.

Just got back from taking the Glow Creemsicle for a test drive. First fish was a white crappie:D, excellent start in my book! Can't wait to get them wet again!

yeah guys heres my dilema i have everyones jigs now except MIICefisher's i have sent him pms with no return his activity shows he has not been on the site since dec 2 i have another member who is willing to step in and have jigs to me by friday so they can be mailed out monday

Maybe computer problems, give him a few more day's to contact you. It's early yet (not been on the site since DEC. 2) I'd say shot for next Friday shipment have the new guy ship his lures next Tue/Wed. so you can ship by Friday. I would think that if he had to pull out for any reason he would have contacted you. You will here from him by next week I'm sure, he stated that he wanted to do this last year, With a Oct. 11, birth date he can't be all bad. :D Me to.

I'm fine with giving him till Monday, and then (if you want to) sending another message at that time, stating that you plan to mail them out by Friday and you hope that he can get his jigs to you by then, so he can participate. Not invested in this suggestion at all, happy to go along with what works best for everyone.

I havent heard if anyone got them yet. should be there soon. I got most everybodys in a day or two of when they mailed them. Im sure the volume of mail right now and weather isnt helping for fast delivery.

Can't wait to tie them on, weather sucks for the next few days and I'm off till the 5th of January.......
