what is required to purchase a rifle or any other firearm besides a pistol in michigan?

This Message Board has a forum up near the top (in/near the hunting forums) that specifically deals with guns. If you ask up there you will probably get 10 replies within the first hour.

Basically, just be old enough, be felony free, have proper state ID, and be able to pass the NICS check.
