Bird Report - Bays of Harsens

I heard on good authority lots of birdies in one of the Harsens bays.
Mallards, Blacks, Redheads, even Teal.
Makes sense since the refuge just froze. All of those birdies didn't just leave. They're all yers, I'm laying out in the city. I have to justify owning the darn thing.
They may have all been blown out of there from the shooting today though.

I'm glad it took to the weekend for the word to get out. That way I got a couple hunts in before the circus comes to town.

hunted the bingo today, 10 parties and thousands of bird coming from the lake to the refuge, none considered decoying. There HAS to be open water in it still. I was in zone 28 and we had open water in the back of the zone, had to bust ice to get to it. Ended up with 2 birds.
