Does anyone know if I can cut my Aqua View cable to shorten it without screwing it up? I thought if I sealed it and shrink tubed it, I might be OK? Anybody done this before? That cable is so long, it's a pain to cart around. It's now about 100'. 50' would be better. Thanks Capnhook

Cut it about 6" away from where it plugs into the monitor. That way your splice is never in the water.

Solder it back together and use some 3M 33 plus tape and you'll be back in business.
