Greetings all,
I know that "flagging" is a well-accepted practice for attracting attention of distant waterfowl, most notably geese, to a decoy spread. Has anyone ever tried this with ducks? I am planning on doing a little experimentation this fall with different flags. My question is: How big should I make the flags for geese and ducks? 2ft x 2ft? 3ft x 3ft? I plan on using white, gray, and black cloth. Any other tips or hints would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would look more at the kites at this time Mr. 16, we are looking at Jack Kites for geese this fall, they also make one on mallard colors, The flags would work on calm days, you have to flap them then. I would go 2 feet cut into a triangle shape, the color I would use would be a shiney gray or black(ever seen the reflection off geese wings in a field. Flaging does work, But the Kites are the way to go!!!! Yoda
