I sit all day saturday and sunday only seeing a few does no bucks and I know there are a couple on the property. So today about 9am i get out of my blind and walk about 50 yards over to an old fence line that seperate the property I hunt and a large field. What do I see, bedded at 120 yards into the field is a massive 10-12 point (couldn't count all of them). The owner of the field does not allow hunting I have asked before. I watch the buck just lay there for 3 hours no movement, then he jumps and runs off to a thicket between 2 houses about 100 yards away and stays there until I leave for work. Smart old guy, like he knows where he is save. My muzzle loader could have made easy work of him but i will just wait it out and see if I can get him to come to me. I just hope no one illegally shoots him.
