From what other guys are telling me, they are hand made by a guy upnorth and they are great for mitch bay and simc0. They are close to a slab grabber. I just stocked a bunch to try them out.

I don't have a picture sly. They come 1 1/2 up to three inch long. The bead at the end of the hook has a smaller bead inside of it. They are stainless steel. Oh well

Never used them here but a good friend of ours uses them avidly on mitchells bay and lake simcoe, and they are deifinately a money maker over there. :D

Are they like a "Kens Spoon"? You know, with a bend at the bottom.

Kind of simular to kens spoons but more like a slab grabber. They do have a curve in the spoon and a bend at the end. Different shapes at the top: Fan, round, kite and diamond. Anyway if you go to mitch bay this year, try one.

Call Bluewater Bait & Tackle in Fair Haven. They had a small box of them behind the counter last season. I met the guy who makes them on the ice in the Metro boat basin last year. Apparently he only makes so many per season. 2.5" chrome/red bead worked excellent for me last season.
