Iv seen that people have mentioned making their own a couple of times. I spent 40 bux on 4 of them during turkey season, and none of them are working now. I missed and hit a tree earlier this season and my nock quit. THe other 3 went through a deer and quit shortly afterwards. I was wondering if anyone is willing to tell how to make your own. Would be much better on the pocket book im sure. Thanks in advance!

I've used them for a couple of seasons now with great luck. I make mine very simliar to the video with only one exception- I pin the outside nock instead of super-gluing it. ...only because I either use too much super glue or not enough. I use needlenose pliers to hold a pin over a flame until it glows red. Then I stick it through the nock into the plastic part of the light. When it cools, the excess can be easily trimmed with a pair of toenail clippers.
They hold up well until they get twisted, so make sure that your nock is aligned with your fletching before pressing it in.
