battery leaking

I have a deep cycle marine battery - wet cell - that is leaking around the caps. The battery is two years old. I have never filled it. I took the caps off and the liquid was about an inch from the top. I am dolt when it comes to batteries.

Also, I have an automatic charger. I used to charge at 10amps, but now only use 2amps because I was thinking maybe It was boiling over. I cleaned the battery up today and then charged on 2amps and it still leaked a little.

could be vibration, heat, shorting out....

Could simply be a poor seal on the caps. How does it hold a charge??

If it's only 2 years old bring it back to the place you bought it... should still be under at least partial warranty.
