Cell phone waterproofing

has anyone tried vaccuum sealing a cell phone with a food saver? Was wondering if this would work and you could still use phone? Seems like it might make it pretty water tight, and still easy to use if need be.....Thanks

Never used a seal-a-meal as mines a flip phone. When on the water or in the woods when its wet/snowy I just use a zip lock sandwich baggie. ;)

It'd make it pretty hard to charge it.....lol :D

Seems like it might work but the plastic might make it hard to hear.....

If you get it wet, pull the battery and put it in a box of rice for a couple of days. It will pull out the moisture. I've done it myself and it really works.
