Can I get a consensus from you shotshell reloaders on the "perfect" upland bird and rabbit loads? I have been having terrible luck with my 12 ga. mag reloads for grouse.
Whats the load? HELP!

Jim,
What specifically is the problem you are having with your reloads? Is it a chambering problem, crimping problem, or you just can't hit birds with them? Maybe if you give us some more specifics, we can help you better. What components (wad, case, poowder, ect) are you using?

I have had excellent success with this load for pheasants.
AA hull
win 209
win wad aaf114
27 grains hiskor 800x
1 1/4 of copper plated #6
Leaves at about 1300 fps
Its a little heavy for grouse but great for pheasants
I use the 20 for grouse.
