You'll have to give me a shout when you head up that way Chris......I'd love to get into some of that walleye action up there.....Harry made me up some killer spoons that we killed them on last year at Houghton so I got some new ones from him....Anxious to put them to work!! Won't be long for Houghton lake to freeze over!! Then back to this!

Yeah - I'm getting pretty excited for the upcoming ice season as well. I drove from Livonia to St. Paul, MN yesterday (uggh....almost 11 hours!) and it sure is cold up here. The high up here today doesn't get out of the 30's.

As much as I respect and admire the opinion of everybody that might report on the water levels of LSC, Harry I think it would be much better to have first hand knowledge of said depths, that being said I know a retired guy that has`nt stored his boat yet and could "VERY" easily be talked into using it to obtain such scientific answers as to the depths of LSC. :evil::evil::evil: MIKE

Captain Kroger said sportsman knows the depth of said lake through his ability to tread water as witnessed by Mr. Sylvester.:nono: I might also add the he has the ability to also tell you the water temperature in the dead of winter.....................now.:rolleyes:

After skipping my last two outings to paint, it won't be too hard. Maybe a jon boat armada in some canals on LSC?? Not sure what day, but not til next week I would guess. Gotta work while they still want me there.

As for thew water depth in that particular location, my bulk didn't hit bottom a couple of steps off the weed line.
