Fished in front of the GPYC, away from the pack, sunrise till 2pm.

kept 33 nice ones, 8-11 inchers...most were 9-10

caught a baby Musky as well about a foot....very cool and my first musky ever.

we set up just as the sun was coming over the horizon and it was mayhem for the first 30 minutes....caught 25 of the 33 in that timeframe....then nothing till 1:30, when we caught 8 big ones in 3 minutes and that was it

wish i was there a half an hour before sunup...thats when theyre biting.

cant give the exact location, but i will say on the Canadian side of the channel, a few hundred yards from a bouy, 17 FOW.....big emeralds on "the magic rig" did the trick

back out thursday

Good job on the perch, wow that was a long time to wait for 8 more perch. Everyone tells me they are awesome to eat, will have to find out one day after the supply of walleye gets low.

No, if he was that close to a bouy.

With full intentions on running to the Ditch and possibly the "A" marker of the dumps we ran out only to be greeted by 2-3's that were pretty tight. Ended up having to plow right into them in order to minimize the spray. Needless to say we never went to our destination. Set up in 15' with nothing to show. We made 2 moves and found a few willing to sacrifice themselves. Caught about 20 with 12 of them "jumbos" in about 2 hours

Slips seemed to out-fish ground tackle (thanks Steel Ed) even in the waves. Too bad the winds made us call it by 1pm. Our old bodies can't take too much bouncin' around. Sheep and smallies were also in the mix. What a hoot on 4#
