Rico,
Your PM box is full. Make sure you clean out your old inbox messages and your "sent" messages too.

Here is what I tried to send you:
Ric,
I have full replacement coverage on my boat with additional money for replacing any lost or damaged fishing equipment. I forgot how much additional I put on it but I think it's like up to $5000.

My premium is $249 per year for my 1997 22ft Islander I/O with the high performance 4.3 ltr. That premium has been the same since the boat was new in '97. I've checked other insurance agents and nobody can beat them.

My agent is State Farm - Wayne Jacksons office in Saginaw.

Ph (989) 799-1133

I did get an equivelent quote from Saginaw Bay Underwritters in Bay City. The reason I did not change is because I felt they needed to beat the price for me to go through the hastle of changing. That phone number is: (989) 892-2527

For that price, I never worried about dropping down to fire and theft over the winter. The boats value was $24,000 new. Now the value is around $17,000.

Good luck Ric,
Bob

What is the coverage for that price? Do they allow you to drop down to just fire and theft during the winter?
Last but not least could you give me the number of your agent you deal with. I've got a 22 trophy that's costing me 400.00

Thanks,
Ric

Rico I tried to pm you back but your box is full.
I use USAA now. Before I carried citizens.
But all insurance companies should let you drop down to fire and theft. Some just try to tell you that they can't but usually they will.

After deer season I'll revisit this insurance thing.

Once I was late paying my insurance...you know the letters you get...Your insurance will lapse by so and so date if not paid...Well I paid it and didn't think nothing of it until I got a letter from my credit union stating I had not notified them that the insurance had lapped so they got insurance on my pondoolie boat because they were still on the lein for another two years...I told them about my late payment and faxed a copy of my re-instatement to them. They hired some no name Ins. company that billed me for over a $1,000 for coverage! Man! My credit union took care of it after they recieved the fax, but what if something happened like it always does and you couldn't pay...talked about not even getting kissed! Ha!
