Well I was long overdue for a day like this! Hit it at first light and jigged for about 4 hours. Boated 10 eye's with 2 over 6lbs. they were quickly released. Then culled through a few smaller fish to come home with my limit. Caught countless smallmouth and sheephead and a huge catfish. Caught about 30 fish this morning.:D Color combinations varied for plastis. Arkansa Shiner, Gold Pepper Shiner, Green Phantom. All caught on blue/white jighead. The water was super clean and the South winds made for some calm water all morning. The las hour I was out I didn't get a tap so I called it and came home for lunch. Looks like it's gonna be a couple days before the winds lie down and I can get out again.

From what I saw, I was in the lead out there as far as numbers go. Mabe luck, maybe not. I found a specific depth that seemed to be holding fish and just kept making short drifts over a specific spot and worked it real good. It was definately and early bite. By 10am they were done. Not even a sheephead after that.:dizzy:

My buddy and I went out this morning and fishhed that same area and ended up with 6. We didn't get out on the water untill around 8:45-9 ish. I'm sure had we gotten out earlier we would have had more fish. At about 11 the bite was shut off completely.
