went out last night with Ron, (Rattling Ron) back north of Bluewater Bridge. Got out at 5pm and first drift caught 2 walleyes.
Next drift one huge sheephead. The walleyes where in 50 to 60 ft. level. All came on spoons again.
Really windy out of the south. Had to control boat as good as possible...
Ended up with 8 all together...Not bad for the time we where out there. No other boats around.
What a fishery we have!

Todd,

Our fishery has been bad this year. Your the only guy around that catches fish everytime out. Ive had a bad year and am frustrated, but glad to hear there are fish there. Last year was the best Ive ever had.

I don't seem to get skunked, The spoon is excellent bait to use....I have a lot of faith in it and keep with it.
The walleyes size last night where great eaters...no big ones like the other day. The only thing that changes is the depth they are located at....
The water clarity last night was about 5 ft. but they are still there. It is like a switch when they shut off. Right when the sun gets past the tree line they are done.

I agree w/Todd we have a great fishery for walleyes. I've caught fish from the end of April until now. The only slower period has been these last few weeks. Last year was better, but still can't complain.:D
