It's not looking like it will be a good fishing week!!!:( I know last year there was a period of almost 2 weeks where we were unable to get out during the Fall bite!!

I really hope that you typed that as a joke !!!! I'm stuck in for the day with a birthday party, it looks awsome out. Oh well, it will only be a matter of time, where I just pick up the phone and say happy b-day and I'll miss this too. (But I'll be calling from the boat :evilsmile):lol:

Time to catch up on the "Honey do's"!!!
On the other hand, often these blowing days offer the absolute best nightime walleye shore fishing of the year. Husky Jerks, J-11 & 13 floaters, glow Smithwick Rogues can often fill the cooler in short order in these "tough" conditions. If you can get yourself into a spot where you are casting into the wind on the windblown shore. You won't have to cast far, the fish will be right in the whitecaps on shore. :)

Houghton, don't give up hope yet----you see, I had scheduled time off to fish with ESOX this week and celebrate his b-day.Sadly, I had to cancel because my Mom is having a heart cath done and probably won't make it up.Normally, whenever my rig crosses the state line the winds swing violently to the NNE at 20-30mph. making for miserable conditions at best on LSC.(If you don't believe me just ask ESOX or Shoeman). This phenomenon has repeated itself time and time again. I know at one point Shoeman cursed me to my face and threatened to buy a fat polish voodoo doll with my face on it:lol::yikes::yikes::D.SO,HL buck up-- the weather should be just fine and the fish will be biting by mid-week just as long as I can't make it back up to God's country this week.Oh yeah, if ya' want a good laugh just mention the word "waterspouts" to ESOX, I'm sure you'll get an earful;)
