Well just got home.................should have stayed home! Slipped away for a few hours this Sweetest Day. Dirty water, weeds and a strong East wind, that wasnt blowing at my house, sent me in early. No fish.:rant:

It was a tough decision whether or not to get up this morning with how muddy and weedy the water looked yesterday afternoon as I was gazing off shore from the Delphine area.....Now your report here Jim just makes me think.....Maybe I'll just go back to bed and wait for another day!! Wish you would have gotten into them some....I always hate to see a outing without a fish!!

Fished 1130 pm- 330 am pulled 6. 4 came on vampire and 2 on custom chrome wonderbread, 1 fish went 7 lbs. Same spot as last week. Not on fire but definitely enough to keep me interested. 2 footers when i came out calmed right down around 1230 or so and picked back up around 3. Good Luck to All:)

I went out there also this morning Justin.....Lost the first 3 by waves ripping the lure out of the walleye's mouths!! It was really rockin in that 16ft. aluminum!! Landed the next 3...all came on my Hot color pattern I've posted about!! Got off the water early because of being sick of fighting the waves!!

I was out last night 2 eyes to show. one snagged. so I guess one. and one Sm bass stayed in the mouth of the river. all bit on natural perch jointed 15 foot lead size 9 or one step up . short fish lots of weeds and dirty dirty water

Guess I should have went with you Justin! Didnt think I could slip away, but I did. Yeah, I headed back in at 11:30, or so, was just to much work fighting the wind and waves. Sounds like you did OK. Ed, when were you out? I was in the river more, and there was one boat by me, could have been you, I never got close enough, to busy trying to keep weeds off, leads untangled, boat heading in a straight line, etc.

Amazing how fast the lake can change over....Yesterday morning it was Mud and weeds....this morning clean water and no weeds....only thing constant was the wind and waves, and those look to be here all week!:rant:

Yep that was prob. me. I worked more toward the light house/ white wall. I also got tired of pulling weeds while fighting the wind. It was a 8 to 1100 fish. I left right after you. I was the last car in the lot at alter.
