I don't care for Bush or his policies, but I would like you to explain to me how the economy is all his fault. Lemme see, we have had 2 solid years of the Libtard brain trust passing damn near anything and everything under the sun, all Bush does is sign it or veto it. Your gonna have to splain to me how he introduces all the wonderful legislation that has been passed. I thought that was the House and Senate that did that. Waiting....................

The answer to the question is simple.
It is nobodies fault, yet everyone is to blame.
Actually, the economy is OUR fault. We elected these tards, we are to blame for the current situation.

Ah so, but then that means Clinton didn't do his part and Veto the bad stuff either. Good answer, but I don't agree with it. I brought up here once that it took 8 years for congressional policies to take effect, I was proven wrong by about 8 or 9 different people, the Stock Market rises and falls on what ever new legislation comes in, usually in 2 to 3 year cycles, and if I remember right, since 2000 the Dhimmis have had enough to fillibuster every decent piece of legislation that has gone thru. Now I will agree that the House and Senate are partially at fault for bankrupting our government, but they are the brain trust that has pretty much introduced legislation for every thing that King Bush. Frantz, I agree with what you put up. Diane Feinstein made it apparent when she told her 85,000 out of 91,000 constituents that called and told her to vote nay on the Bail out that just just didn't understand it so she was voting for it.

well actually the mess we are in right now is do to the liberal philosophy of giving out government loans to welfare and low income people, who did not qualify for these mortages. the greed from the banks and the greed of buyers is why we are where we are. hate to burst somes bubble. but it was Barney a demorcrat in charge of over sight for Frddie and Fannie. when warned by a repub. he stated that all was well and no more oversight was needed. to be exact he said we dont need to fix what is not broken. I think he might have been wrong. the philosophy for these loans go back to ,yep you guessed it the Clinton era.
Giving out undocumented loans to people without jobs and speculators gave way for massive abuse on both sides. interest only loans allowed those without any common sense to over buy what they could afford. Counting unemployment and welfare as income ,well you get the pic.if you are on welfare you might not be ready for home ownership.
Maybe there is a reason that there are hoops to jump through to own a home.

I don't believe politicians are there to carry out the will of their constituents, but rather act in their best interest. Most would say those are one in the same, but at times they are not. Read "Profiles of Courage" by JFK and you'll understand what I mean (I don't think I explained myself very well!).

No one takes responsibility for their actions in congress, they keep shifting the blame elsewhere so they can get re-elected. The president however, especially in his last year will take a lot of heat for any mess...
Bush has not made all the right decisions. But he is in no way shape or form to blame completely for what we are facing right now.
