Ok, here's the deal, I went through my hunting stuff and found some stuff I don't use and would like to see if I can help some people out. All of this is used, but in pretty good condition.

If you know of someone down on their luck and see something on the list that might help them out send me a PM about the items. I don't need a sob story or anything, I just want the person getting it to need it and put it to use.

I would really like to avoid shipping this so hopefully we can do a pick up or I can meet you in Saginaw or Midland.

I probably won't check my PM's until tomorrow evening (10-17 around 5pm) so don't expect a reply until then.

2- safety harnesses, the basic kind that come with tree stands

8- 28 1/2 inch arrow dynamic nitro stinger carbon arrows

Bushnell 16x32 binos

LED headlamp

size 13 white mouse boots

size 12 hodgman rubber boots with removable lining/insulation

Reversable parka and bibs, the parka is a 3xl and the bibs are a 2xl. Regular camo on one side and snow camo on the other.

Walls xl camo bibs, insulated

Mossy oak camo bowhunting jacket xl uninsulated

Natgear 2xl insulated jacket

Camo Scent Lok pants and jacket 2xl uninsulated

Thanks,
Chris

it's like my dreams have come true, i broke my binos like a week ago and, being a poor college student who actually payed an 1100 dollar tuition payment earlier today i would be going without for the rest of the season.

could i send you a private message to set something up?
thanks so much
Joe

No need for anything either But I want to join the rest abd say THANK YOU...what a great thing for you to do !! There are many out there that are having a hard time making ends meet let alone trying to find an extra dollar or 2 to buy new hunting gear !! For the last 4 years we have had to buy new clothes, boots etc for my nephew, he is at that age that of course he out grows it within 3-4 months. I do my best to try to find someone who needs the help and can use it... If that does not work then we usually try to sell it in a yard sell and put that money in the pot for the next years purchase.

This is why I love this site not to mention this sport in general.

This is what it is all about. With the economy the way it is, it would be wonderful if we could all try and find just one thing that may be able to help another fellow sportsperson out....I for one know that I have things in my totes that I have not used in a few years....you may be on to something here.

Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack

Good Luck this season!!!!

you are a perfect example of a sportsman helping fellow sportsmen. what you did may have introduced a new hunter into the sport, allowed someone to hunt this year, that may not have had the gear to do it.

i am going to follow suit, and i am going to go through my gear and decide what i NEED vs. what i WANT

2 years ago, i bought a new bow and shipped my used bow and case to a guy in Montana to give to his neighbors' son to introduce him into bowhunting. it made me feel really good about myself. you should feel the same about yourself as well.

alot of people are too proud to bring up the fact that they are in a tight spot, so an offer such as yours allows them to put pride aside, and try to get the things that they need to enjoy hunting season.

THANKS for being a fine example of a true, unselfish person......:fish:

There's a webgroup called freecycle where members post goods for those that may be in need or those that have stuff to unload can get the word out to each other.
Just something to think about. I for one have an old Browing bow up at the cabin that I've kept in mind for a new comer to the sport. I'm taking him out in a few weeks, I want to show him the rut period to get him really excited, but if he isn't, that would be something to pass along in the spirit that has been shown here...once again, WELL DONE!

I'm interested in the safety harnesses. I get some youngsters that are friends of my boys that want to bowhunt. They all seem to have bows, but no harness. I won't let them hunt in a tree without one and would like to give them to the next kids that go up with my sons.

The arrows arrived today with out me knowing...it was like Christmas! I'm loving the look of the Nugent black and white blazers!! My FOC with these is a spot on 11% with my Muzzy 125's, I'm looking forward to tuning up with these, first time shooting blazers out of my NAP 360 QuikTune!

Hey Jejhunter

I bought a new stand a month or so ago that came with a new harness. I have at least one already that I use and would be willing to part with this new one if you need it, especially to get some young men involved in the sport.

It is nothing fancy, just the standard one that comes with new stands. It is a vest style with leg straps as well I believe. Still new in the bag.

PM me with an address and I will ship it out to you.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, I think I have two of the same ones. Bought a stand last year two and I think that harness is out there too. I will check when I get home. If I have two and you need two just let me know and you can have them both.

I have at least one if not two of the standard harnesses that come with stands sitting in my garage collecting dust. I also have a pair of size 11 Rocky Gortex boots that have seen their fair share of mileage but still have some tread on them. Free to someone who could put the items to use. I'm in the GR area but travel to Muskegon on a daily basis.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

Guy's;
This post is over a year old;
Guess it still doesn't hurt to keep it alive for those that are still in need, or have some things they could help someone out.

God Bless all of you and be safe this season.
