Thanks. No Canadian licence this year maybe next. Is there any productive water to jig on the American side in the fall? I mainly fished SCR this spring and did well. Never tried in the fall.
Thanks

The American side of Peche from the tall range light down to the red can in 26-28 fow is very productive in the fall.
Pulling wire and jigging.

"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!!!:evilsmile
Don't get me wrong,I have made the same mistake myself a few times. And in my case I seem to miss a great bite also.

Started out in the lake pulling wire about 5am this morning. The weeds were relentless out by the shipping channel and I didn't catch squat. At the first hint of daylight I made my way back to the sturgeon hole and picked up 2 nice eye's on the first pass with some fresh emeralds. One was 4+, the other a 2lb'er full of eggs. Thats a nice sign that the water temps are setting up for some prime fall fishing again.;) I also hooked into a monster ski! :yikes: It was fun and put up one hell of a fight. Hotwired was right beside me and I think he even saw it come right out of the water when she jumped. It easily would have been my biggest to date if I actually landed it. Had her up to the side of the boat and she rolled over and broke the line. It was easily a 50"= fish and a fatty. I'll be back at it tomorrow morning. Heck I hear the perch are hitting great out there and I might even give that a shot.

Picked up 4 pullin wire between 6am-8am then headed to the sturgeon hole to fine Dekek screamin' like a little girl while he was fighting a 4ft+ muskie on a snoopy pole (I think he borrowed it fom Slick). It got the best of Derek but he still beat me jiggin' 2-0.
See ya in the morning Castmaster. ;)

Only problem with that was the wind WAS blowing hard at 1:30am....It was probably white caps out there!! Tough to be able to call if it is going to die down or not!!! If I knew how to do that I'd be Rich!! I got my info straight from the Weather buoy out in the lake!! At this time of year with the Temps and lack of boats...If I'm going to error.....I'd much rather it be on the side of safety!!
