OMG....I cannot believe what I found tonight. I got home and check everything out around the property. Something seemed amiss. I noticed this on the ground

I was like WHAT??????

And then I looked around and couldn't believe my eyes. My whole field...uh oh....

What am I to do, the farmer must have left a ton of corn in the rows, I mean I must have enough corn on the ground to, dare I say, feed the deer, until December I figure. What should I do??? I mean, I have like a 15 acre bait pile, isn't this illegal, should I call the DNR, PineFarm, who else???? I don't know what to do.....:dizzy:

You could disconnect your line from the house to the propane tank and send a flame through that bad boy. It would get rid of your bait problem quickly! ;)

Or corn nuts, either way salt blocks might come in handy with this situation!!

The only ethical, sportsmanly thing to do is turn yourself in! Call the DNR with GPS info. so they can wipe out your deer herd endangering bait pile! If you need the # I think you know who to pm to get it.:lol::lol::lol:

Being that pretty much all state game agencies differentiate farming practices from buying a bag of already grown and harvested pre-packaged food and then dumping that by a stand for the purpose of luring deer to that specific dumped loaction, I'd enjoy it and try to hunt somewhere relatively near that field.
Unless that field was to suddenly up and disappear at any given time, I think you're OK.

Legally...that's not a bait pile. That's a corn field. So by the law, hunting over it would not be baiting...it'd just be sitting next to a cut corn field.

I'm sure all the GREAT hunters on this site would know how to set up on that field!! And all the dumb baiters would have NO idea where to hunt!!:lol::lol:;)

Shoot that big white pig sitting next to the field, that should take care of your problem.
