I don't suppose anyone has upgraded and are willing to sell the old at a nicely reduced price. If any such wonderful person exists please reply to this post. I am seeking everything, and am willing to buy a piece at a time if need be. I have no clue what is best or even good for that matter. I have been looking, and RCBS and LEE jump right up as well known but also costly. If anyone has older stuff they have upgraded from I am interested in hearing about whatever you have.

Sarge..... I got a 35th anniversary kit and dies for $100, brand new. I have loaded over 200 shells and have not had any problems with it. I bought 300 shells on an auction for $15. Powder runs $22 and bullets around 20. Primers are cheap, about $2 per 100. So if you go that way, start up cost is not too high. I looked at all sorts and for the money, the Lee kit is great. You can also find used stuff at www.auctionarms.com (http://www.auctionarms.com) as well as www.gunbroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com) GOOD LUCK!!

sarge,

The lyman puts together a kit for christmas it is called a starter kit and it is a good single stage kit. I think that is the best way to start, is with a single stage, takes a little longer to turn out the loads but it gets you used to doing it in a way, the right steps I mean. You need at least 2 books to check your loads.

Hornady has a kit too. starts at about 100 to 150 bucks then you can add to it.

hope this helps.....

Happy shooting
