Boat Question

For those of you that fish the river, I was wondering what you prefer, a drifter or a rowboat? I am looking to getting into river fishing from a boat more, but I'm debating between a drifter and an aluminum boat?? Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

If your fishing popular trout rivers such as the Pine then you want a drifter.

If your steelhead fishing on the Big M, you'd want a power boat.

Need more information on what size river you are fishing and what is your targeted species.
