Going for some Bushytails today

I am going to go try for Bushytails(Tree Rats) or Rabbits today,will post on my success or lack of on my return.

Good luck to you. I am new here, and small game hunting is my thing. Deer Hunting? It's OK, and I'm usually lucky in either or both archery and gun seasons... but I am going through the motions, bagging a nice doe for the freezer.

But small game hunting? Oh yeah. And hunting squirrels with a rimfire can be the ultimate test of marksmanship. Like who can miss a deer?

I went squirrel hunting this morning ,my 12 yr old daughter got her 1st squirrel !:D I think she's hooked.

Well came back empty handed for my efforts today.I was not able to get out early as I had wanted this morning. It was just too hot by the time I got out in the woods today.But I did get some deer scouting done. Seen a few nice rubs and lots of sign.
