Morning Or Evening ?

Just wonder if anyone has a preference of hunting in the mornin or evening during bow season only? My self i prefer to hunt the evening hunt mostly because ive never shot a deer with a bow in the morning. Any one else ??

I have a stand thats more productive in the morning and one thats better in the evening. seem to see more bucks in the evening though!

I hunt both of course, but I truly enjoy watching everthing come to life in the morning!

i hunt mornings in early october see alot more deer, but when the rutt starts ill hunt both

In my experience(where I hunt),, too much can go wrong with having to track a deer in the dark. I hunt almost exclusively in the mornings with my bow.

Morning. I can get up early, take care of a few things for home/work, get to my stand and every moment of shooting light I'm hunting. In early season I can hunt for 2 1/2 hours and get to work by 10:30. All I'm losing is some sleep - which I'm willing to do. This works better for me since I find it's almost impossible to get out work early. In addition, I lose valuable family time during evening hunts, especially during early season when it's still light outside during dinner. I too love to see the sunrise from a treestand. It's easier tracking a deer in daylight if I'm lucky and whack one in the morning.

Morning I see more Bucks. Evenings I see primarily Does. I prefer the morning because I truly enjoy watching the sunrise and being in a tree as the woods wakes up for the day. So far this year I have seen more Deer in the morning.

In all honesty I love the mornings to see it come alive but I love tracking deer in the dark. Call me weird but it is a challenge and I love that

AS I ws reading these posts, I did some thinking and counting. I love the mornings and would have thought that I had better success in the morning, After counting and looking at journals. I am more successful in the evening. I still like morning better? :dizzy:

I have got more deer with my bow in the evenings. With a gun in the mornings. The deer don't seem as spooky in the evening for whatever reason.
