Does any body else age thier birds? We have a old fridge just for game and fish and ofcourse there is always some cold beer. we typically age them a week, bring back from hunt and put in fridge. we all like our duck and goose breast med rare, they are a lot more mild and tender, like a great steak! goin on 30 years doin it and never had one go bad yet, even shot up birds seem to be less wasted meat. the key is DONT GUT FIRST, put in intact. i do the same with the dometic birds i raise, off with head, bleed out and in fridge, chickens, turkeys, pheasent, pats, 3 days. just curious and thinking about the opener. good luck, mm
