Went right to the same spot I fished yesterday, except I got there in the morning this time. The action was not as hot as yesterday, however, the quality of perch was better. We managed to take, 67 perch, 21 over 10" and 4 over 12". We did throw back several 8 inchers because we had a nice mess of bigger fish, plus I didn't want to be up to 11:00pm cleaning and packing fillets again. Didn't fish as late, so I don't know if the 2 o' clock bite was as good today. The area I have been fishing is straight out from the Bassett Channel. There has been a group (4-5) of boats a couple miles west, directly out from the Bassett Island. I haven't stopped in that area, but I'm sure they're catching fish too............Steve
