Sorry I still haven't had time to do a good fishing report. The last time I was out it was still for Salmon on the 17th, we found plenty, but didn't get too many biters. I'll try and post photos and more details of that trip on my next "report".
I've spent the time since last report out at my partner Bob's house getting in a little hunting camp time. Filled one doe tag the other day and could have shot a couple of smaller bucks, (Two different six points and a nice four.) but we are going with seven points or better for the bow season. Seems to be paying off over the last couple of years, we're definitely seeing more and better bucks.
Herb is out today on a Steelhead trip and we are both out tomorrow. Sounds like if you work hard right now you can expect a hookup or two, but there is still an overabundance of natural food in the river that we are competing with. That's really all I've got for now, will try and post a longer more detailed report soon. Till next time, tight lines and good shots!
