Our property in western Montcalm has tons of big acrons for the second year in a row. Like walking on big marbles!

Are big acorns or small acorns supposed to indicate a severe winter? (Probably an old wives tale....)

Alpena...
It sounds like someone is constantly throwing rocks when I sit in the woods.
Great crop this year.

TONS!!!!!!!!! I love it. I put my stand up the other day and sat for a few hours to watch and was getting pelted. The deer have plently of "natural bait."

Spotty at best where I hunt in NE Newaygo and NE Mecosta County . Seems like they are near the roads but when you go into the forest it`s few and far between . It does make it easier to know which trees to hunt near .
