huron national forest hunting

Is the Huron National Forest off m-65 just north of the asauble river open for hunting? I don't see any access points on the DNR website but have notices alot of vehicles parked on the side of the rd (65) during hunting season, is this ok to do... park and walk in?

Yes, it is open. I usually stop in there on my way up to my folks' place and hunt.

Stop and buy one of the Atlas/Gazateers. You won't regret it. It shows everything you're asking about.
