Good day on the lake

Hello fellow fisherman.
Went out for a day of fishing Sunday and had a good day.
We ran from Algonac out the middle chanal to the east over to the weather boey and the water was real dirty. About 6 boats where there and the catching was slow. Decided to run northeast for some cleaner water and found some. 19fow in the middle of no where. I mean no where. No weeds on the graph, no structure, nothing. My buddies son said this was the spot and by God he was right. Droped lines and started pulling in 11"+ perch one after another. Ended-up with a nice catch of fish with minamule throw backs. All in all had a great time.:cool:

Went out again yesterday afternoon.
Lake was like glass. Hunted for an hour until we found
the fish. Dead mud minnows tail hooked was the key.
9 sec. rule also. If you don't know what that is, drop line to the
bottom, let it sit there for 9 seconds then reel in a fish. Worked every time. Worked the mudder real hard too.
Ended up with near 100 fish all in the 10" class.

Great job JeffK! I hope to get out later in the week. If you don't mind me asking, what general area did you fish. I'll probably start a couple mies ESE of the weather buoy unless I get a better report. Thanks and again, great job on the jumbos!
