works with phez, chukars and chicken!!
BTW, this is the same recipe for the Shish Tawook (chicken kabob) at middle eastern restaurants.
cut Chukar breasts (skinless) into 1 inch cubes.
Marinate in the following for couple hrs:
(same as the quail recipe i have on this forum)
1- Olive oil
2- Lemon Juice (fresh)
3- little Garlic mashed up.
5- Add spices (Paprika, salt, pepper, Oregano, garlic salt)
After two hours, get bamboo skewers from any store (Kroger or Hillers)
takes cubes and insert into the skewers. After done, brush with a little bit of olive oil and sprinkle with more paprika on the skewers!
Medium to low heat on the grill. don't over cook so won't be dry. brush marinate on skewer every so often to keep them juicy and get more flavor on them.
grill and enjoy
