Hello fellow team-mates. My name is Kathleen (ERnurse) I will be entering bow killed deer into the contest. Cant wait til bow season!!!!!
I hunt several locations, Thumb and a couple spots in St. Clair Co.
I havent seen anything big yet this year but left a dandy to grow last fall in the thumb--hope to get a closer look at him this fall :evil:

Hey team 13...I'm on the other "mostly women" team & you KNOW we have to come in first & second. So, I guess most of the competition will be between our two teams.

My Name is Jason, and I'll be hunting in Lower Michigan with my bow. I have access to 3 farms to hunt and have scoutted some bruisers for this year. We can win this Contest :D Last year my team came in a very close second. Does anyone have name ideas? Hunting season is just around the corner, and I can't wait. Hey everyone. Most my hunting is done on private land in lenawee county, but I also spend a couple weekends each year hunting public land in the NLP. I have several nice bucks on trail cam this summer so it should be exciting season. I will be chasing after them with both bow and firearm. I had a couple big 8's and a potential 10 running around earlier this summer, but haven't got any recent pics since our food plot was killed by drought. I should have a decent chance at one if the plots come back but there is also 3 other guys chasing after them. Sabre and Hawk were on my team last year and know they have a pretty good track record of nice bucks. Anyone else think they have a good shot at a nice buck?

I can attempt to make a banner once we decide on a name. Think I even have software for animation.

Hi I am Craig and this is my 1st year deer hunting and im hunting with a slingshot.....

haha ok my name really is craig and right now i am up in the UP on a bear hunt... im trying to get a bear with my bow so i might not check in much until teh 14th or so... so whatever name you guys pic is fine with me.... except it cant strictly be something about girls.... that just wouldnt be fair...

plus i am ordering a shirt so it has to be something cool darn it

I like beaver balls... its like those things you put on your string to silence your bow yet it also works for a half male and half female team... so what you think?

i usually have some nice bucks on one property or the other i just have to find them and havent done much scouting...

we should have a dang good team this year... cant wait!

I would like something that doesn't mention antlers since, I hunt for meat. Antlers are nice, but they don't fit in the pot as well. And are rather flavorless.

Thanks for the comment ;) and just to let you know, TRO is talking about me, HOWEVER, I had a much better teacher over the last year and have been shooting on a league as well for the most part of the year. OH not to mention I have much better property to hunt this year. So as said previoulsy us girls will make the guys happy to be on a team with us.

As for the name, I have heard from all the guys and they like the one that we were talking about.

Ok, It's now official, Majority of us voted for WhiteTail Whisperers. Since No one was really jumping forward to rep our team in the Ohio vs MI contest, I signed up to do it... The last 2 years I have got big 9 pointers and hope the streak changes and I can get a 12 point. They will create a new thread with our official team name, and this one will no longer be used once the new one is up. I will fine tune the banner tonight, and WyldKat can get the social group up and running. If anyone has any input or maybe a better photo you want to use for the logo background let me know. Now lets go get em
