Just checking in. Wanted to touch base before I leave monday. Be back on Sept 18th from Quebec. Any of you been in this contest before?

Been seeing some nice bucks, and well we know there are plenty of does around.

Welcome to the best time of the year all! Remember it is a long race not a sprint. Let's get our does as that is were the points really start to add up. That said I am rather picky about what I shoot. Glad they did the combo bit this season. Lately the handgun has been seeing all the action. Start thinking of a team name so we can hit the ground running. . .

Hey guys, I talked to Smap the other day on the phone about checking
in, buy he must have forgot. I will see him this coming week if he doesn't check in before then. I also wanted to let you all know that I picked up a
camera today from one of our farms and got a bunch of pics of a real bruiser we've been seeing lately. I'll try and get some pics up soon. Like I said before, any name is fine by me.

i kinda peaked at other post from other teams and found a good idea we should all take a second and tell eachother a few things about ourselves what ya'll think....then we should vote on a name....

i will go first since i am here right now:)

my name is Terry
i have been hunting for about 20+ years and i mostly hunt with bow but do get out a few times during rifle every year, i hunt state land in north west michigan i am also married with 3 kids..........

well guys i hope to put some points on the board for us but this is also my son's first year hunting so i will be spending alot of time with him trying to get the fever in his blood;)

my vote for the name is team double lung unless ya'll have some others to throw out there,

ok guys what do ya'll think of the signature and logo? if we want to change the name or something i can do that unless someone else has a better understanding of how to put one together? i cannot seem to get it any bigger or it won't upload....i think it is too small but don't know what else to do? any ideas?

Im Don I am married we don"t have any kids yet just a Lab. I mostly Bowhunt SW MI but manage to make it north a couple times a year.I think the name and logo look great. You will have to tell me how to get it into my sig. line

Name is Lon Williams...Married 10 years, have been deer hunting the same amount of time. Hmm...

No kids, 2 knucklehead German Shorthairs. I am an avid bird hunter, and deer hunt to spend time with my family.

I will be hunting on the sunrise side this year, don't know if I'll make it to the family camp in the U.P. Looks doubtful.

I LOVE the logo, tj. Nice work. I think the name still needs work, but if you all like it, fine with me.

OK everyone just found out we don't have captains this year....it looks as though we are having a contest between us and ohio sportsman forum so what they are doing is taking 1 person from each team (total of 25 people) and those people will represent us in a contest against ohio!
so i think we should re-think this and find someone to represent us that has a strong hunting spot and a good chance at taking a bruiser....this does leave me out i am hunting all state land and no pics yet of any bruisers...it would only make sense to vote someone that is hunting in SLP that gets on every year right?? so who is up for representing us?

Like a dead fish! No problem with the name or whom ever the captain is. It's just a game...I'm hunting the Thumb and while I have seen (and missed!!!) some nice bucks the potential for ANYTHING that could top an Ohio WT is slim. Does we got! Going to be a wet and buggy opener for sure w/ all this late rain. If the corn doesn't come down we are in some serious hurt.

i made it out to check my cameras and again nothing worth posting on them yet.....hopefully the rain will let up and i will get back out again later today and do some more checking..........found some nice trails today now just have to find the righ ambush point....

i think all you do is right click on mine and then save it to your pics in your puter......then go to the user cp on this site and click on change signature then at the bottom it will say browse click that and go to the pic you saved then double click on it and then on the page you clicked browse there will be a upload button just click that and it should work......i don't know of any other way to do it.....maybe someone else does????
