Sand Lake

Has anyone fished sand lake in irish hills if so how was the fishing and what did you catch :confused:

I would like to try fishing there before the snow flys

we fished there a week ago. First time fishing it with a boat, usually just ice fish it. Suprised by how weedy the bottom was, everywhere. We tried weed beds, edges, some shallow water, some deep water. Caught fish (gills, a couple perch, and a couple small bass) everywhere. Couln't keep the bait in the water. Only problem was they were all 4-5 inches. Didn't matter if it was on top, or 15' down, they were all the same size.
Don't know if we couldn't find the big ones, or if they were burried because of the holiday weekend, but there were definately a lot of fish. There were also 4-5 boats that were trolling, probably for eyes, but never saw one boated
