Hey Guys,
It has been a long time since I posted. Just figured I would post a few photos of this guy I ran into while fishing acreek in the Bighorn Mountains. The wife, kids, and I went fishing on Saturday. Left our campsite and went to ths creek right down the road. Wife says on the way down to the creek this looks like moose territory. I say, whats the chance of running into a moose. We start fishing and I decide to walk upstream to find another spot. As I am coming up to a big bush by the creek I see this guy standing in the creek. I about crapped myself! He was only 10 yards away. Looked back at the wife and she already had the poles and kids and was on her way back to camp! Luckily I had my camera and time to snap some photos. Enjoy the photos.

He sure is big... what a nice treat to see while fishing. Nice pics!

Awesome pic's, he has some decent head gear too! I think he looks kind of menacing in the second to last pic.

What a BEAUTY! I get the impression he was tolerating you at first, then getting irritated with you towards the end. Glad the encounter was amicable. You live in a wonderful, gorgeous state.

Great pics, I have 7 points for Wyoming moose so in a year or two I'd love to run into that guy!

Sweet hopefully in a few years I will draw and be able to get one like that. That was a pretty good moose for the lower 48.
