Went out yesterday, 8-30-08, "early" (on the water at about 8:30,) and started fishing right out of the launch, on the bay to the right.Water temp at +/- 73, almost flat water. Picked up 3 bass pretty quick and a pike at about 26" on cranckbaits. Than I got bit off twice, loosing 2 CBs. I mooved on the west side and hooked 4 more bass (one shook off the CB in the air) and a "hammer handle" using CBs , Senco-s, jigs and T-rigged worms.Off the water at 2:30.
Today I got lazy and got out at 10:00 :xzicon_sm:lol:. Till 2:00 I landed only 1 bass and a 4-5lb catfish. 2 bass got off the crancks and I lost annother CB to a toothy critter. Used the same lures as yesterday.
Fished 8-12 ft deep.
Pretty hecktic with all the boats on the water. I haven't seen so many trailers in the parking lot since I started fishing this lake. It looks like gas prices keep people closer to home.

Tight lines, Alex
