These Wed./Thur Mio runs are habit forming.

Wednesday night's ephoron hatch treated me well. Took 7 chunky bows and browns. Could have had more, but switched to the spinner too soon. Saw the spinners on the water but should have given more consideration to the fact that the fish were still slashing at emergers. I figured they'd switch over quickly, but not as quickly as I'd hoped. Nearly a perfect hatch though--heavy enough to get the fish going, but not so thick your fly got lost among the naturals.

Drifted to Comins on Thurs. Half dozen fish caught, nearly as many hooked and lost. Olive emergers caught most of the fish. The ephorons were lighter Thurs. night. Only a few feeders working, and those sporadically. However, there were far more people on the river, four on the bend I'd had to myself Wed, and I could see lights both up and downstream. Caught one bow and one brown, both around 12".

Nice work man. I would have liked to have gone up there, I fished the White Fly hatch last year, but I just can't my streamers out of the P.M. :D

Any pictures?
