Burt and Mullet Lakes

Just wondering how the walleye bite has been up on Burt and Mullet Lakes? My buddies and I were very impressed with the fishing on those lakes when we were up there last August for the MWT championship. We are heading up there for Labor Day Weekend.

I don't know about Burt Lake, but I know a few fishing buddy's have been doing very well on Mullett the past 2 weeks or so. They have been landing a limit of fish in each outing. There was just a tourny last weekend on Mullett and Burt but not sure how things turned out. The weather was really nasty on the first day, and not much better the second day.

I saw you guys out there on Saturday. I was in the green Lund with riggers. I was mainly just out there cruising with a g/f but we did troll lines for about an hour. We picked up one 17 incher on a purple prism reef runner. How did it go for you guys?

Fishing was really slow. 2 legal fish for 1.5 days of fishing with several short ones in the mix. We fished both Burt and Mullet. Both fish came from Burt. The fishing was so poor that I went to Hubbard Lake on Sunday. We got 3 nice ones in 3 hours there with several throwbacks.
